39th FBAB Meet up @ Kapoor's Cafe, ECC Road, Whitefield,Bangalore

It was one pleasant Saturday afternoon, while enjoying the slightly drizzling and epic climate,  was also happily getting ready to head towards Kapoor's Cafe, ECC Road, Whitefield, Bangalore for the 39th FBAB Meet up. Kapoor's Cafe has opened their second outlet in ECC Road, Whitefield, Bangalore.. great news to a lot of techies now as the restaurant is now very near to ITPL and a lot of other companies there.. Now you have a great place to dine in for yummilicious north-indian food.. exclusively Punjabi..

Me and hubby reached the place. Mr. Arpit Kapoor the owner of this hotel very happily and heartily greeted us in, the best gesture he has in the city and there's lot to learn a lot from him when it comes to hospitality. He rocks it out there,  Here i need to narrate down a story,  it was on a Holi day i ordered the holi special thali which had thandai in its list, but the thandai has got over due to voluminous orders, so he delivered me lassi with the thali. The next day he calls me up to get those thandai delivered. I am stunned by this gesture. Within the next half hr.  me had two small pots of thandai.  So does'nt he needs a big round of applause for taking the customer service to a totally different level.. Its all about customer satisfaction to him.  To Mr. Arpit Kapoor all his customers are equal and treats them like God with all the patience, smiling face and such a down to earth personality he is and so is his better-half too..  I really need to learn a lot from this guy in this regard..

Okay now let me speak about the food. So for the 39th FBAB Meet up we were welcomed with Fruit and Nut's  Lassi as our welcome drink. It was sooper yummy loaded with dry fruits and nuts topped with a cherry. Trust me, its mouth watering now...

Then comes the starters.. Kapoor's Cafe is pure vegetarian and a paradise to vegetarians.. First comes the cheesy goodness... sss it was the Cheese Pataka Balls.. It was aloo mash with a burst of cheese which melts in your mouth, crispy outside and we all went cray over it... Yayyy.. that was tooo way cheesy, yummy and made my day.. Cheese cravers just go for it..

Next comes the French Fries and the twist here was the Punjabi style French Fries. Its crispy french fries tossed in some secret punjabi masalas and topped with a splash of fried mint and coriander leaves.. Spicy goodness and who would not fall in love with so much awesomeness. and sss we did fall in love with this spicy goodness of potatoes.. Loved each and every bite of it..

And our final starter was the yummy Paneer Pakora.. Chunks of paneer marinated in some spices, coated with besan flour and fried to perfection.. It was just out of the world and i could see paneer lovers were alll oooooo...vowwww... yummmm and all that..

The taste was outstandingly amazing that we just went rounds on gorging these starters..

Then comes our Main Course, we were served the Maharaja Thali , the combo 7 of their menu. It had Dal Makhani, Paneer Butter Masala, Baigan ka Barta, Mutter Pulao, Ghee Fulkas, Mix Veg Subzi,  Papad, Cucumber raita,  Onion salad and Fruit cream for dessert. The Fulkas were so soft brushed with dollops of ghee, wheat goodness it was. We loved each and every item kept in the thali. The pulao was cooked to perfection and i personally loved the taste of pulao and even went asking for more. The mixed veg subzi needed to be perfected with the seasoning..  Overall the thali was great with a variety of dishes.. It truly deserves the name MAHARAJA THALI.

Then comes another delight.. One will surely fall in love with Kapoor's Cafe after having this.. Ssss,,, cheesy goodness again, It was the double layered cheese Paratha's.. I have heard that Kapoor's Cafe is very famous for their Cheese Paratha's and there is a huge fan club for this dish..
The Paratha's were oozing out with Cheese.. Every bite of it is just like going to heaven and coming back....

I should definitely appreciate their generosity in using the cheese.. Not all restaurant does this... Hats off to Kapoor's cafe...

Then comes the Fruit Cream, the dessert which comes along with the Maharaja Thali.. Its creamy goodness loaded with some nuts and cut fruits topped with a cherry.  It was too way delicious leaving your taste buds creamy... I went so crazy over it and have made up my mind to drop in to Kapoor's Cafe every time i cross the way just to get this goodness..

Now my happy tummy wants to do a rating...
