CULINARY MASTERCLASS WITH CELEBRITY CHEF KUNAL KAPUR HOSTED BY WHIRLPOOL BUILT-IN APPLIANCES
Some days are meant to be extremely special and blessed that it remains in your heart and mind forever as golden moments. One such day was Saturday, August 26th, 2017, Yippeeee! A bunch of us were truly blessed to meet and cook along with India's finest Masterchef and Celebrity Chef Kunal Kapur, not only in India he is one of the most celebrated faces even abroad. This restaurateur, TV host and MasterChef India Judge is one of the sweetest chefs I have met and loads of thanks to Whirlpool India for giving us this golden opportunity and making this event a fruitful one. In this prestigious culinary master class, Chef Kunal amazingly stood out as an artist with the plate as a canvas and food as a medium. His goal through this unique master class was to help the food enthusiasts to become such artists with confidence and enhanced cooking skills with latest techniques in the industry.
Whirlpool's built-in appliances, an arm of Whirlpool India and worlds largest appliances manufacturer, Whirlpool corporation, hosted a Culinary Masterclass with Celebrity Chef Kunal Kapur. This fun event was hosted at Somethings Cooking culinary studio in Bangalore to mark the celebrations for the second anniversary of Haute-Kitchen - an experiential center for Whirlpool's built-in appliances in Koramangala, Bangalore. The food was prepared with the help of Whirlpool's built in hoods, hobs, oven, microwave oven, refrigerators etc..
Known for experimenting with ingredients and cooking styles, Chef Kunal was recently roped in as an endorser by Whirlpool's built-in appliances and post the association, it's for the first time Chef was seen endorsing and engaging with Whirlpool's built in appliances range for a culinary activity.
A Fun and Inspiring Session by Chef Kunal :
I have always been admiring Chef Kunal in the show My Yellow Table by NDTV Good Times. I so badly wanted to participate in that event and cook along with him, as I have seen the guests enjoying the cookout and even we the audiences, Hit me up, I know it's difficult to be a part of it but Thank God, I was a part of this exclusive master class. Words fail to express my happiness when I got a call to attend this masterclass, Thanks a ton to Whirlpool India for making my dream come true through this fun and inspiring session.
The dish for the day was sea food modak with Indian Salmon in a bed of red spinach drizzled with Moilee sauce and Kokum foam, Sounds so complex right? But nothing is complex when Chef Kunal is there, Celebrity Chef Kunal Kapur is better known for demonstrating recipes as simple as it can get, He patiently guided all of us to get the dish perfect, right from making modaks to stuffings to moilee sauce to the kokum foam which used molecular gastronomy technique, every little process was simplified by the chef.

Chef Kunal strongly believes that an artful presentation of food makes the diner's party a success, more than just eating and enjoying, it's an expression of craftsmanship and art. So he also educated us to artfully present the dish which we prepared and here's presenting you all the flavourful Sea Food Modak, Indian Salmon in a bed of Red Spinach drizzled with Moilee sauce and Kokum Foam.

Meanwhile, Whirpool has also unveiled their new range of built-in hoods in the Southern India, the brand new range has sleek design and enhanced features which makes it best for use in the country, the new range has passed more than 10 stringent safety tests which ensures that only the safest products reaches consumers home. Whirlpools built-in hoods are India's only hoods with 6th sense technology that automatically adapts the suction of the machine to the intensity of smoke in the kitchen. They are fitted with stainless steel baffle filters which traps the oil, grease and are best suited for Indian cooking making them durable for life.
