A MIXING OF CULTURES @ JW MARRIOTT HOTEL BENGALURU - AN ALL IN STYLE CAKE MIXING CEREMONY THAT SET IT'S OWN BENCHMARK

When you hear a beautiful song, it fascinates you, steals your heart, enchants your mind, touches your soul and that keeps lingering inside you for quite some time. That kind of an exotic feeling is what JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru gave to their guests at their Annual Cake Mixing Ceremony, they doubled up the joy and brought in the season of cheer with a very interesting cake-mixing tale to tell, which will perhaps last months or even years. We all know that Christmas is no fun without the traditional Christmas cake and making it is not an easy affair, preparations begin much in advance. With a lot of hotels catching up with the trend of cake mixing ceremony, JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru broke the mundane process and did a fabulous mixing ceremony that set its own benchmark.

10-11-2018, It was a magical and a picture-perfect day! As the gorgeous rays of the sun gleamed on us happily, the melodious breeze blew in a symphony and the angelic clouds danced in joy creating an ethereal ambiance, the most awaited boozy, traditional ritual and an age-old recipe was taken to a different level by adding a bit of style twist to the show. Knowing that Desi is "Swag", JW Marriott boldly added a desi twist to the show. Yup! People from various walks of life came dressed up the desi style. It was all about cherishing and embracing the cultural diversities of India under one roof. 

Hold on, The surprise is yet to come! Poised in a beautiful desi style setting, the charming heroes of  JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru surprised us with a royal flag entry followed by staff members carrying colorful mounds of dry fruits and nuts with an amazing patriotic music in the background. This kinda entry was a total surprise to all of us which literally splashed power, it's not the ethnic wear we wore that made the difference, its the strong cultural passion these heroes wear on their sleeves. I know! I can hear you telling, When it's JW Marriott it can only top the chart with great pride and makes their guests indulge in an experience.

The huge tray was then filled with loads of raisins, black currants, cranberries, candied peels, candied cherries, tutti fruits, nuts and secret spice mix followed by a heady combination of booze was all done in a royal desi style.

The General Manager Mr.Reuben Kataria kick-started the cake mixing ceremony along with the other guests. We all loved getting our hands sticky as we mixed and tossed the fruits.

We then wrapped up the gala event with a hearty buffet lunch at JW Kitchen.

A huge round of applause to Siddharth Verma, Multi-Property Senior Marketing Communications Manager, Marriott International and the team for having etched out such a beautiful and unique concept that is the most appreciated talk of the town now and they have set their own benchmark.

It was a glad moment for The Crumb Stash to be a part of the most exciting event of the year. I can still smell the aroma of the secret spices and am wondering how yummilicious the cake is going to turn out. The festive mood, the cheerful atmosphere, the hospitality, and the entire experience was therapeutically euphoric and a huge huge success.
