AAMLICIOUS TREAT OF THE SEASON AT KHANDANI RAJDHANI - A REVIEW

Mmmmm.... Mangoes!  The best thing of summer,  Obviously, juicy, sweet and a divine addiction this king of a fruit is.  This luscious and seasonal fruit is much loved by all and most look forward to and also evokes so many happy memories of  the sultry summer holidays.
When the scorching summer hits so harsh on people, Rajdhani wanted to soothen people with their aamlicious feast. Every year when the sweltering April to June heat is unbearable, Khandani Rajdhani becomes a mango heaven serving all the yummy delicacies made out of both raw and ripe mangoes and is indeed a blessing for mango lovers

This year, I got to enjoy the summer by relishing their array of Aam delicacies as a part of the blogger's table. Khandani Rajdhani, the King of Thali is well known for the best of hospitality. They greet their guests by saying "Khamaghani" and welcome with an aarti and apply the tilak too.  The whole way of greeting their guests is very royal and more respectable. Khandani Rajdhani is very famous for sooper-fast service where the wait staff's may over feed you too, Ssss many a times i have faced this. You will have a dozen of items on your plate within minutes of service.

The Mango Mania - Treat of the Season:

We kick started the dinner with refreshing welcome drinks, I preferred the Aam Thandai which was goodness of mango and milk with the slight aroma of Cinnamon and cardamom. Then came the Farsan's which had a medley of fried and steamed delights , Among the Farsan's I loved the Mango Dryfruit Ghugra and the Kairi Stuffed Bread Roll which went very well with the Kairi Onion and Kairi Coconut Chutney. The Shahi Aam Dhokla was not that soft, was a bit dry. The Chatpata Kairi Muthiya was okayish.

The special of the day "Mango Dal Dhokli" was too good and is capable of a sumptuous one dish meal. I too had it on it's own and tasted great.  Fresh Phulka's were served and i tried it out with Arbi Mango Rasawala, Aam Pyaaz Ki Sabzi, Kaddu Kairi Ka Bharta, Now i can't cast of even one sabzi among this,  all of them were delights.

The Aam Ki Launji with Khoba Roti was an amazing combination. The Khoba Roti is a thick and crusty roti and tasted better than the regular roti's. It was perfectly paired with the Aam Ki Launji which is raw mangoes cooked perfectly with Indian spices and sugar. This is a traditional recipe from the state of royals and it went well with roti's/rice.

Khoba Roti with Aam Ki Launji

The Mango Pulao was bland, but who cares when there are chunks of  yummy ripe mangoes in every spoonful of rice.

The colors of white and yellow in this recipe was much needed for this summer I should say..

Aamras  -  The King Of All :

You know what? Am a die-hard fan of Aamras and that too when it's Rajdhani's Aamras i can just keep slurping it bowl after bowl. The perfectly chilled Aamras tastes divine both on it's own and also when when paired with with hot and crisp Poori's.  Rajdhani's Aamras is a true glory to the season.

Finished of the whole meal with hearty servings of Aamrakhand and Mango Jalebi with Rabri. Perfect desserts to finish off a hearty and elaborate thali.

My Overall Experience :

I relished each and every item in the Thali and enjoyed it to the core.  The Aamlicious festival is happening till June.  Do visit your nearest branch very soon to experience the Aam Delights.

So Friends, Enjoy this summer season with your favourite mangoes the Rajdhani way....
