My review on Punjabi by Nature Whitefield.
Punjabi by nature, a cute place to experience north indian fine dining specialising in punjabi cuisine. Happy to have the very famous Punjabi by nature in Bangalore that too one in whitefield.
I was invited to Punjabi by Nature for the 35th FBAB meet-up, happy to be a part of it. Punjabi by nature stands so elegant with their lovely ambience, well-trained wait staff who are so courteous and welcoming, yummy north indian food - one can pair up their food with their very own brewed beers. sss their microbrewery is a very big advantage to the restaurant. I personally loved the cute fountain which is very much welcoming and makes their customers instantly happy.
Time to talk about the food now.
Starters:
We were served with 3 non-veg starters in which they served Murgh Malai Kebab, Kastoori Kebab, Peshawari Kebab and 3 veg starters Stuffed Tandoori mushroom, Tandoori aloo, Tandoori paneer tikka and amritsari paneer tikka..
The murgh malai kebab was so yumm and creamy with an outburst of malai taste, Kastoori Kebab was so tender, succulent, mouth full of flavour.. exceeded our expectations, we even went for a second round, my fellow bloggers and me went so cray for it, I personally felt the Peshawari Kebab need to be little more spicy, otherwise it was well cooked and juicy, but the seasoning needs to be taken care of and also a little more smoky aroma would have done wonder to it..
Main course:
We were served with Tandoori roti, Butter naan, garlic naan, and some lip-smacking signature gravies like Murgh Punjabi masala, Meat Punjabi by nature, Kandhari murgh gravy, and in veg it was Dal Makhani, Palak paneer, and some mix veg curry. the curries were well cooked with tender and succulent pieces of meat . Veg also tasted good.
Desserts :
We were served with flambeed jamun which is their signature dish. flambeed jamun is the gulab jamun flamed up with brandy, once the brandy vaporises the flame goes off, and one can enjoy the dessert. A very unique dessert and uplift the fine-dining ambience so well..
Also liked their Jalebi with rabri..
Mocktails :
We were served with their very famous and signature Mango Margarita Twist ( ALphonso Mango juice with some fresh ginger and mint ) stunning drink it was.. Its for sure their customers will easily fall for this lovely drink..
Suggestions :
Food could have adapted more of that punjabi taste to their dishes which would go well with their name...
My fellow bloggers went so cray for their freshly crafted beers..
My overall experience was good with proper fine-dining ambience, warm hospitality, courteous wait staff, awesome food plating.. Sure people would love this restaurant.
