THE PUMP HOUSE, A NEW BREWTIFUL PUB IN THE CITY | A REVIEW

The happy hippie Bengaluru city has been seeing so many newcomers every single day, so many tourists exploring the city, above all there are the very own residents of this majestic city and to keep them all excited and "Tastefully Wasted" JP Nagar has now got a brewtiful pub called as "The Pump House". Being conveniently located in the busy bustling and posh streets of JP Nagar 1st phase "The Pump House" is an elite three-storeyed microbrewery that has a very tasteful and magical mix of ambiance, location, freshly crafted beers, and a tantalizing menu. Grandeur is the only word you will feel when you step in. 

A bunch of us were here a week back for a special gathering to witness their yummy food and freshly brewed beers alongside Chef Vishal's meet and greet. Chef Vishal is also one of the managing partners taking care of the complete culinary operations, his vast experience in the F&B industry and that worldwide traveling and experience gathered, of course, reflects in the food. The evening was flowing with freshly crafted beers and buzzed with informative talks about their lip-smacking pub grubs. 

The magic here is the fresh, posh, chic, relaxing, youthful and uber-cool ambiance. There are the trees, huge stairs and everything that makes you feel life is one grand adventure.

 All the three floors being spacious and breezy, choose wherever you wanna sit, "The Pump House guarantees you with a relaxed atmosphere and a perfect setting to enjoy your ideal food and drinks. 

How we got tastefully wasted...

There is this saying, "Beer is a proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy". The Pump House lives up to it and makes sure they excite their patrons with 5 good quality beers along with their specialty beer.

 Hopfenweiss, Tropical Stout, Indian Pale Ale, Belgian Witbier, American Blonde Ale are the varieties apart from their specialty beer. So grab yours as per your liking and clink your glasses high to say cheers guys. 

Let's talk good now, oop's sorry food!. We started off with the Mezze Platter which had all the Mediterranean goodies like Olives, Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Tzatziki, Haloumi, Falafel, Pita Bread, and pickled vegetables. After stuffing our mouths with these, we moved on to some Nachos, I must admit here their Salsa and Sour cream is literally a killer, clearly a crowd pleaser.

 Every party crowd will have a healthy eater and don't you worry, The Pump House Crunchy Muesli Chaat is there to keep your soul satisfied and your taste-buds tingling. 

Then, there's the bird with so many varieties, yes your favorite chicken is available in all the styles your tastebuds would want. 
We tried the Pepper Chicken and it went well with the drinks.

The best part of the evening was this Beer Soaked Cheese Brioche Sandwich, I must say that it was literally a sophisticated symphony of the beer, cheese, tomato jam, and the brioche. 

The menu has a lot more interesting collection of pub grubs like Caesar salad with chargrilled chicken/prawns, Fried Idli Chaat, Honey Chili Lotus Stem, Stuffed Kulchas, Chicken Satay, Wings, Paratha roll, Beef Fajita, Kebab Platter, delicious Pizza's, Tawa Pulao and a lot more delicacies were sparking their menu with a bash. 

Winded off the evening with a drool-worthy dessert plate which had the mighty Tiramisu, Mysore Pak Mousse, and a brownie. What more can a girl ask for?

Overall, The Pump House is a beautiful surprise. From juicy meats to freshly crafted beers to sinful sweet treats, this three-storeyed elite pub has got everything to offer and am sure that this place is gonna roar high in people's mind for every weekend bash, parties, celebrations and casual dinings too.
