Idli Sandwich





Ingredients :

Idlis  - As Required
Sliced Onions,
Sliced Cucumbers
Sliced Tomatoes
Shredded Carrots,
Mayonnaise for spreading..
I mixed two tablespoons of curd and 1 tablespoon of tomato ketch-up and used it as a low-fat version of mayonnaise..
Oil - To fry
Salt - To taste
Pepper - To taste


Method:

Heat the oil in a pan

Deep Fry the idli's, take it out and put it on a tissue..

After 2-3 minutes slice the idli's in the middle to space the veggies and keep the other end intact

Then spread the mayonnaise or the low-fat version which i have used on both the sides of the halves..

Arrange the sliced onions, cucumber, tomato and top it with shredded carrots.. Sprinke some salt and pepper...  Do this step carefully...

Close it and fix a tooth-pick in the centre...

Enjoy ur lovely  idli-sandwiches...

Note:   You can also use some shredded cheese...
