Indulge In The Potpourri Of Goan Flavours And Much More...

Lady Baga opened its door to Bengalureans in the month of November and now in February, they have launched a new menu, with a wide range of glorious and addictive Goan and continental food. The new menu is truly a delight to the Sea Food enthusiasts and Vegetarians too, Yup! I must say that the food here is truly a potpourri of Goan flavors and much more.

We kickstarted the lunch with some drinks, I opted the Lady Baga Bubbly, a refreshing mocktail which lives up to its name, The name is so spunky that I tried it and is definitely a winner for hot sunny days and also fit for a relaxed evening too. It had apple juice, sprite, tea, orange jelly and I quite liked the play of flavors. I know it will be a sin if I don't taste the Port-Wine Sangria, I did taste and these drinks spruced up my day to a different level. 😃😃

In Starters, we tried the Dancing Chicken, chicken wings crumbed and tossed in vindaloo sauce. If you love spicy Goan food, then you must give this a try.  The Sungta Maria had Goan style masala prawns lying happily on the fried toast, this is a perfect party pleaser.

I tried both the Veg and Non-Veg versions of Rissois Verde, was not a huge fan of this, but the vegetarian friend seemed to love it.

Glanced through the menu while having the Verde's, ended up ordering the Lemon Butter Garlic Prawns, and Oh My God, it was one fantastic dish, a show-stopper for starters. Juicy prawns tossed in butter, garlic and finished with lemon juice. This creamy and delicately flavored prawn tasted divine and is something which you should not miss at all when at Lady Baga.  The Crumb Stash highly recommends this dish.

Lemon Butter Garlic Prawns- Was so delicious and am going back for this...

If you are a salad lover like me, do try out the Kale and Quinoa Salad,

In Main Course, we had the Portuguese Pilaf with Chicken, a great twist to the regular fare. Long grain rice cooked in the seasoned broth along with Goan spices, cashew, and raisins.

Root Veg Crepes, a gorgeous dish by itself. The crepes are stuffed with root veggies and topped with a truffle cream sauce. These crepes are elegantly plated, light, fluffy, silky smooth and this luxurious dish will guarantee to make your day a special one.

What's Goan food without the fish curry, We tried two seafood curries which are served with steamed rice.  The Goan Pomfret curry had a huge pomfret doused in slightly tangy, spicy and yummy curry.

If you feel that juicy prawns cooked in a creamy coconut sauce can do the magic for you go for this curry Camaroa De Cadinha. The seafood here is very fresh that you could smell the sea out of it.

Heartily ended up the meal with Bebinca, the Queen of Desserts. But what excited me more was the Vanilla and Saffron Panna Cota, this creamy dessert is a pure indulgence and had mild flavors of vanilla and saffron satisfying the soul in every scoop. We also tried the Valrhona Dark Chocolate Fondant
